The purpose of this course is a study of the biblical theology and historical foundations of worship, especially as it is expressed in the contemporary worship and the renewal movement. Focus will be on worship's purpose, priority, personification, and portrayal. The study will be conducted by discovering worship's definition, history and renewal in the context of contemporary worship trends.
